In the 14th minute, Osorio Ubago made a precise shot to the right of Dimas Nunes. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pinhote FC's Dimas Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Fandiño in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Osorio Ubago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimas Nunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Januário Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mino Domene made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Mourato in the 25th minute. Giorgio Chiellini's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgio Chiellini helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgio Chiellini didn't get a good kick on the ball. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Mino Domene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Higino Pessoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lilian Thuram took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimas Nunes. Pinhote FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute Januário Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Domene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madeo Vilamajo to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Reis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Osorio Ubago managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osorio Ubago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Januário Guimarães made a kick off. Javier Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's Januário Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mino Domene narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessandro Del Piero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Dimas Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Fandiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Carvalhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mino Domene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimas Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 72nd minute of play. Isidoro Velasques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mino Domene having to interfere. Mino Domene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januário Guimarães in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Velasques came free, but Mino Domene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
