Hannes Saenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. De Boedo Vengo were furious when Filomeno Montel was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 21st match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Montel to maneuver through the defense. Adam Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Salim Adas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fulgencio Lalla hit a great ball. Joshua Anderhub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Gerber made a kick off. Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Gerber's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Valentin Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hannes Saenger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Fulgencio Lalla got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Joshua Anderhub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Jaunzuria in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Hannes Saenger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Bollhalder. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Adriano Bollhalder got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fulgencio Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Saenger having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Mick Badurina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hinnen came free, but Salim Adas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Hinnen scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salim Adas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karim Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Adas having to interfere. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Anderhub in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Boedo Vengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Wil 1900.
