With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger got control of the ball when Måns Stålman tried to sneak it across the goal line. August Sörman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cirella in the 36th minute of the match. Hannes Saenger made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Måns Stålman sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Lekparken FC defense, Karim Gerber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of August Sörman. The Lekparken FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Sörman should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Måns Stålman was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Hinnen could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which August Sörman however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute, Popcorn Knoblauch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lekparken FC booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Popcorn Knoblauch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Måns Stålman scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hannes Saenger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Anderhub might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Sörman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The goalkeeper, August Sörman, was totally fooled by FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lekparken FC's August Sörman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cirella in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Lekparken FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mauro Bastos hit a great ball. Mauro Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Saenger having to interfere.
