With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bennis's Sven-Åke Granberg got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Edgard Che threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bennis's Lin Xuan Hai quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cai Cheng Sang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenílson Quintal came out and tried to block the shot, but Cai Cheng Sang slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. When Cai Cheng Sang came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bennis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Cheng Sang couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Dito Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenílson Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cai Cheng Sang went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BRASIL.Sp's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Bennis were awarded a corner. Lin Xuan Hai went to the cornerflag to take it. Lenílson Quintal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cai Cheng Sang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Lenílson Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cai Cheng Sangs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Lenílson Quintal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Åke Granberg made a kick off. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Malcolm Nyström hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Thodoris Katsiaros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Edgard Che in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Lin Xuan Hai. 63 minutes into the match, Cai Cheng Sang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson Quintal. BRASIL.Sp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Cheng Sang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 68th minute Cai Cheng Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BRASIL.Sp's Lenílson Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Granberg in the 69th minute of play. Lenílson Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Cheng Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Jara made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cafu Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Henrik Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Cai Cheng Sang made a precise shot to the right of Lenílson Quintal. BRASIL.Sp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Bennis's Pål Uggstedt was substituted for Cai Cheng Sang. Bennis made a substitution. Edwin Söderqvist replaced Sven-Åke Granberg. Bennis's Roy Vesterberg was substituted for Aloísio Senna. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Santos Pinto took a quick shot and it went in 7-1 without a chance for Leonardo Jara to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Bennis booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Quintal having to interfere. Lenílson Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Edgard Che made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bennis's Lin Xuan Hai. Pål Uggstedt took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Quintal. Lenílson Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bennis had played much better football throughout.
