Gustave Héron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Héron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éthan Plantade to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Castel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gustave Héron made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Grosso came free, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Joe Grosso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Herblay's Kylian Wiart made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Batiste Botella. Gustave Héron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Valenzuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Gustave Héron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute, Joe Grosso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. AIK FOTBOLL's Sven-Oskar Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Grosso in the 32nd minute of play. Herblay's Gustave Héron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Haeger in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Christophe Beaulieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille a yellow card for diving instead. Joe Grosso might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Andreasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Grosso ran back to his position shaking his head. AIK FOTBOLL's Pål Hammarström was substituted for Blagojče Michalashvili. The AIK FOTBOLL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herblay were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gert Haeger made a kick off. Gustave Héron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare De Vecchis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Manfred Blomkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustave Héron. Herblay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Blomkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Manfred Blomkvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cesare De Vecchis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Joe Grosso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Batiste Botella fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herblay's protests and gave Batiste Botella a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Batiste Botella hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Tholsson. Batiste Botella scored 1-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Jean-Michel Portier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Oskar Andreasson, 1-5. In the 81st minute Kazimierz Tylinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Pål Hammarström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustave Héron. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustave Héron should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Herblay booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
