Acratas Unidos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Banks came free, but Ciro Tello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Chapui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Ervin DeJesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Lorencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Froylan made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Parr. After taking down the ball on Acratas Unidos's corner Paolo Nahia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ian Chapui quite easily take care of the ball.
