An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ochoa in the 10th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Diagur was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Godoi in the 47th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Generoso Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Ochoa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Pedro Ochoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg.
