Dennis Bergkamp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albino Maiorga came out and tried to block the shot, but Dennis Bergkamp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Narciso Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Maiorga having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Ahmet Paşa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aílton Fernandez. Agro Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Paşa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 15th minute, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Arturo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Fernandez having to interfere. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene defense, Dennis Bergkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Maiorga. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Maiorga should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Paşa in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Fernandez saved Agro Imortal from getting behind. Aílton Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Paşa's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Lopez came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Albino Maiorga made a huge save. Albino Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Agro Imortal's zone, Ahmet Paşa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Fernandez came out of the goal and Ahmet Paşa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Paşa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 57th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Eduardo Beltrame shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Paşa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ezequiel Lluques was substituted for Brahim Boutabout. Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa was substituted for Dennis Bergkamp. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Luizinho Pesquera with Luiz Fábio Dantas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Marcos Urtsin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luizinho Pesquera, made in the 78th minute of the game. Ahmet Paşa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Aílton Fernandez made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Luizinho Pesquera threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Marcos Urtsin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aílton Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 87th minute of play. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Teixeira in the 88th minute of play. Luizinho Pesquera made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luiz Fábio Dantas however managed to control. After having played for 94 minutes, Ahmet Paşa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Paşa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agro Imortal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene for a fine match.
