Joxa mé trasan's Billy Dahlqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertus Spijker, made in the 16th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Macovei. Henk Pieters was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Edward Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop van der Schaaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Joop van der Schaaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edward Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn. Fred Flinta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Taco Zwartkruis made a huge save. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Bertus Spijker with Joop van der Schaaf as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Joxa mé trasan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
