Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Isaac Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Thiago Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Santiago Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Mainumby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Icoara Football Club throughout the match.
