Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank de Almeida to make the kick off. Ademar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ademar Magalhães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Vitinho Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ademar Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Cássio Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
