Amado Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Arce in the 4th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Arruda came free, but Amado Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jukatriz's Hugo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Jukatriz from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Paez in the 27th minute of play forced Jukatriz's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luciano Paez sent off a good shot on target. Hugo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Paez in the 37th minute of play. Hugo de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Cugat's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Kaká Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jukatriz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Antônio Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Arruda came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Ignazio could save by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Totakoxe came free, but Hugo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Cedro. Nuno Pirani's late challenge caught a La Bichineta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Bichineta booed when Jukatriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Kaká Arce made a precise shot to the right of Amado Ignazio. La Bichineta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Hugo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Gonzalo Enaut suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Jerônimo do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jukatriz's protests and gave Jerônimo do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jukatriz's Jerônimo do Nascimento got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Jukatriz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jukatriz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
