Carolo Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Sundberg having to interfere. Yala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeronimo Caradaro in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jeronimo Caradaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mats Sundberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Deckbergh got free with Octavio Ferrer in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Abechuco took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Sundberg. Mats Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Esteve Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yala's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Abechuco in the 64th minute of play. Carolo Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mats Sundberg made a huge save.
