Vicente Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Mochadlo in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Maria in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Fikus saved Wiktoria Zajafka from getting behind. After 12 minutes, Ian Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascogoianiense FC and the Wiktoria Zajafka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Ian Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Jenkot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Fikus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo de Barros in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Miroslaw Marut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 27 played minutes Wiktoria Zajafka got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Literski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Maria got free with Wasyl Fikus in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Vicente Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Paulo de Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wasyl Fikus came out and tried to block the shot, but José Paulo de Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 31st minute. Vascogoianiense FC's Vicente Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Mudry in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Maria to strike the kick off in the second half. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witomir Mudry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-8. The Wiktoria Zajafka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wiktoria Zajafka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
