The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Ntinos Bogdanos a yellow card for diving instead. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Gipuzkoa in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gipuzkoa came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 龚扬强 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Kokotoulis in the 38th minute of play.
