After some careless play in the Liberland defense, Gerazan Lluba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Hurko. The Liberland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Hurko should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Jorrin in the 21st minute of play forced Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Rik Sirguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Ocomardia in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Pancho. Carmelo Hurko was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Aquilino Ocomardia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aquilino Ocomardia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 97 minutes into the match, Xose Zabarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Hurko. Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xose Zabarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Fire Breathers FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Liberland.
