The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Vito Vilanova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Anartz Gutierrez. Lex Dewolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Treviño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lex Dewolf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Dewolf in the 14th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerico Ramos scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Marie Van Bever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Treviño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lex Dewolf struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Sebastiano Treviño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Wolfpack™. In the 32nd minute, Lex Dewolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Ederono to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Vito Vilanova got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes in the game, Alek Justus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastiano Treviño having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, János Dankó was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Picanya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Wolfpack™ the free kick. The Wolfpack™'s Laurent Elzen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The The Wolfpack™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Picanya FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerico Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jerico Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerico Ramos got free with Jean-Marie Van Bever in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Picanya FC's Sebastiano Treviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Elzen in the 79th minute of play. Alek Justus got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cadwaladr Carabajal charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cadwaladr Carabajal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cadwaladr Carabajal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Vito Vilanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Picanya FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
