When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Humberto Orland. Lu Sha Cheng hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes KIA KAHA got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Modliszewski. 19 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Efrain Panfilo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Orland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Humberto Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicklas Smitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 30th minute of the match Lu Sha Cheng completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lu Sha Cheng a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lu Sha Cheng hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Efrain Panfilo in the 33rd minute. Fabio Santilli came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Octavio Odon. But to his dismay, Octavio Odon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 41st minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes ..Villa Rugby Club.. got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Odon. Mario Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half KIA KAHA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sataporn Snabl got free with Humberto Orland in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
