But to his dismay, Modesto Tercero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cacá Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Modesto Tercero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Ramos. Grêmio FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Tercero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Hermengildo Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Remicio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Jarbas Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Humberto Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Houseman in the 44th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Rene Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Tercero in the 65th minute of the match. Andrézinho Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Modesto Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Tercero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Teodelina FC's Rene Houseman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronaldo Ramos. Ronaldo Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Ronaldo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Tercero in the 79th minute of the match. Ronaldo Ramos came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina FC's Humberto Remicio. But to his dismay, Humberto Remicio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 85th minute, Teodelina FC's Humberto Remicio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronaldo Ramos. Ronaldo Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Ronaldo Ramos came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina FC's Rene Houseman. But to his dismay, Rene Houseman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Perez during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Ricardo Sanduru replaced Jesus Flor. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Teodelina FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grêmio FBPA throughout the match.
