The audience was convinced that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldo Ramos was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Neto. In the 20th minute, Lu Sha Cheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Grêmio FBPA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KIA KAHA were winning 0-7.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonsinho Neto to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 55th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Grêmio FBPA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KIA KAHA:s goal. After 96 minutes of play, KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Grêmio FBPA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KIA KAHA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
