The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Veiga got free with Amadeo Jatsu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Abuba Akotonon FC defense, Alfredão Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Jatsu. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Jatsu should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão Veiga in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Jatsu saved Abuba Akotonon FC from getting behind. Silvinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Cavani in the 18th minute of the match. Silvinho Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinson Cavani went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Herena came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Capivariano F.C.'s Alfredão Veiga made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Jatsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Capivariano F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Souza in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Augusto Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Amadeo Jatsu did a great save. In the 49th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. Capivariano F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Ursino ran over to the corner to take the kick.

After 54 minutes, Nilton Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivariano F.C. and the Abuba Akotonon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilton Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Alfredão Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Jatsu. Abuba Akotonon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredão Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 60th minute, Narciso Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentín Barco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Silvinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinson Cavani. With a little luck, Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Veiga got control of the ball when Edinson Cavani tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Erivaldo Mineiro hit a great ball. Silvinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ursino in the 77th minute of the match. Capivariano F.C.'s Alfredão Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Erivaldo Mineiro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Amadeo Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Veiga in the 94th minute of the match.
