Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nair Galarza got the match started through his kick off. When Lis Tagliani fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simbo FC's protests and gave Lis Tagliani a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 minutes of play, Simbo FC's Nair Galarza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Bras was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's Tiburcio Enetz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 20th minute, Erasmo Blasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Oihenarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Constantino Loi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Melchor Estefan got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Victoriano Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Tiburcio Enetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simbo FC and the Yaji FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Tiburcio Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Nair Galarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nair Galarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nair Galarza in the 40th minute of play. Guido Šuler scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Bras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lane Rhoades struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Gavino Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbo FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Erasmo Blasi made the kick off in the second half. Gavino Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gavino Bras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Šuler in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Lane Rhoades got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gavino Bras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nair Galarza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Gavino Bras 60 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Loi. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Polentzi's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Banegas in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Natalio Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lane Rhoades could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gavino Bras made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Yaji FC's Baltasar Mingo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baltasar Mingo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yaji FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baltasar Mingo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 74th minute, one of Yaji FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yaji FC. Gavino Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Šuler got free with Gavino Bras in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Yaji FC's Gavino Bras got control of the ball when Lane Rhoades tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavino Bras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nair Galarza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 87 minute of play. After 93 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Loi. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Yaji FC from getting a goal against them. Constantino Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Lane Rhoades took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Bras. Gavino Bras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Simbo FC played a much better game than Yaji FC and deserved their victory. The Yaji FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
