The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Eduardo de Brito made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Makis Apostolakis. If Arthur Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Arthur Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Penha. Zemantauskas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 23 minutes into the game, Arthur Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sílvio Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Gomes in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kepa Arrizabalaga saved ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Eriberto Gomes put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Kepa Arrizabalaga. After some careless play in the Zemantauskas FC defense, Arthur Guedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Penha. The Zemantauskas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Penha should have stopped the shot. After 43 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82ndth minute of the game Michel Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ulysses Alagoano threw the ball into play from the sideline. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Celso Valadares quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Ging Root fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s protests and gave Ging Root a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ging Root got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Zemantauskas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
