José Vítor Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Berousek in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Castro in the 16th minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Benjamin Řeha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes FC Kopeto got a freekick which was hit by Ota Matyska. Benjamin Řeha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Ota Matyska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Coelho came out of the goal and Ota Matyska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Berousek to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Václav Plášil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giuseppe Castro made a kick off. José Vítor Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanuš Holan in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund MZB getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marcel Schmelzer hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Václav Plášil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Perez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Benjamin Řeha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Castro in the 76th minute of the match. José Vítor Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ota Matyska, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund MZB booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ota Matyska didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Jean Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanuš Holan in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Kopeto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
