Leandro Brito started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Ascoli came free, but Oleg Timofeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Brito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Armando Polidori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Montevideo's Leandro Brito was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 11 minutes, Leandro Brito made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. XMAS's Armando Polidori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Filippo Barbato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XMAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo the free kick. Filippo Barbato kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Trigo. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Concetto Marinucci hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Alberigo Gianfrancesco got a free kick in the 21st minute. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Alessio Ascoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Timofeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Minichiello took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oleg Timofeev. Oleg Timofeev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Minichiello in the 29th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Zaccardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Brito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Armando Polidori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leandro Brito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Armando Polidori 35 minutes into the match. Montevideo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agostinho Salgado in the 47th minute. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Salgado in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for XMAS! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Montevideo. Agostinho Salgado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Polidori. 4-1. After having played for 59 minutes, Leandro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alberigo Gianfrancesco hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Leandro Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Polidori was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Leandro Brito notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of XMAS's Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Ennio De Nardis got a free kick in the 71st minute. Agostinho Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Polidori. In the 73rd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Valadares to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Minichiello got free with Oleg Timofeev in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cipriano Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Montevideo's Leandro Brito in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XMAS's goalie prevented a goal.
