Viktor Demeter started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Rákóczifalva SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Markos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute Vinícius Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Hajdú saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Rosado hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Jacinto Chaves was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Viktor Demeter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viktor Demeter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Cláudio Donatello notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rákóczifalva SE's Ferenc Hajdú. Ferenc Hajdú was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferenc Hajdú took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Rákóczifalva SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soma Szuper to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Vinícius Esteves made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferenc Hajdú was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute Péter Barabás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vinícius Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Vinícius Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vinícius Esteves hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Péter Barabás put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Chaves. The corner ended in Ákos Karsai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves did a great save. After 40 minutes, Davi Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmeiras and the Rákóczifalva SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Vinícius Esteves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. In the 43rd minute, Vinícius Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Cláudio Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 65 minutes of play, Rákóczifalva SE's Soma Szuper made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Donatello came free, but Ferenc Hajdú reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Péter Barabás came free, but Jacinto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Péter Barabás made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Chaves. Palmeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Jacinto Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soma Szuper's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rákóczifalva SE had played much better football throughout.
