Don Sedelmayr started the match with the kick off. Dario Andreasen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Garmer in the 5th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Dainius Jurkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Sedelmayr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Moura having to interfere. Dainius Jurkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Cerezuela in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Hornbosteler SV booed when Jukatriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Cerezuela in the 14th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Dainius Jurkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dario Andreasen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafa Moura. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Dainius Jurkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Patricio Cerezuela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornbosteler SV's Dainius Jurkus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafa Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Van den Bossche in the 22nd minute. Rafa Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Sedelmayr in the 29th minute of the match. Gylippus Panayiotopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Edwin Van den Bossche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafa Moura, 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Don Sedelmayr came free, but Rafa Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hornbosteler SV's Jörg Zichmann got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 49 minutes Hornbosteler SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kris Garmer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Jukatriz's corner Kris Garmer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dainius Jurkus quite easily take care of the ball.

Hornbosteler SV's Dainius Jurkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Cerezuela in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Jukatriz got a corner. Hornbosteler SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kris Garmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Jukatriz's corner Cássio de Alcântara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dainius Jurkus quite easily take care of the ball. Dainius Jurkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Cerezuela in the 79th minute of the match. Eugênio do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Oswald Reifer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jukatriz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jukatriz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
