Jan-Erik Lundqvist hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Soeiro came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linköpings AIK's Willy Witarya managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chupan Mangas in the 9 minute of the game. Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski came free and shot a quick shot against goal 10 minutes in the game, fortunately Umberto Cunha had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 12th minute Qiao Ang Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pégasus F. C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Sharkin in the 17th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Qiao Ang Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Cunha made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Andrzej Badanowski sent off a good shot on target. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Xing Song in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner. Marbjörn Garpsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Linköpings AIK's Marbjörn Garpsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Umberto Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Andrzej Badanowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Umberto Cunha, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qiao Ang Le in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Andrzej Badanowski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Badanowski couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Ang Le came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Badanowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Andrzej Badanowski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha. Umberto Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrzej Badanowski scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pégasus F. C.'s Bebeto Medeiros was substituted for Gilberto Soeiro. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Jones Cudmore replaced Hílton Albuquerque. 65 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song in 67 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jimmy Olsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 67th play minutes Lu Xing Song shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Jimmy Olsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Badanowski in the 72nd minute of play. Andrzej Badanowski scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Xing Song in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Andrzej Badanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Umberto Cunha. Pégasus F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Badanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Badanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Xande Sharkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Xande Sharkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 minutes of play, Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Olsson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
