An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Nirvana in the 5th minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Fredric Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Nirvana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredric Ahlén having to make a save. In the 16th minute Roberto Nirvana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Ahlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Nirvana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Ahlén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Liljeström came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roberto Nirvana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fredric Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Nirvana in the 22nd minute of play. Stasio Lichniak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Isaac Sandberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stipe Pletikosa could save by the left post. If Roberto Nirvana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fredric Ahlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Lichniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrew Baller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stipe Pletikosa having to make a save. If Andrew Baller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Lichniak to maneuver through the defense. If Stasio Lichniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Roberto Nirvana made the kick off in the second half. Fortuna 86 Szczecin were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Finninge Fotboll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Vlădean took the corner. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Ilie Vlădean was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fredric Ahlén in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roberto Nirvana might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredric Ahlén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Nirvana ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the game, Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stipe Pletikosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Finninge Fotboll made a substitution. Kevin Stabbe replaced Andrew Baller. Harun Mengüer might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredric Ahlén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harun Mengüer ran back to his position shaking his head. Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harun Mengüer in the 62nd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's Richard Liljeström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stipe Pletikosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Stabbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Fortuna 86 Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Gierasik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Kempf in the 79th minute of play. Harun Mengüers short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Fredric Ahlén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Richard Liljeström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stipe Pletikosa having to interfere. A collision led to Finninge Fotboll getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Henning Kempf hit a great ball. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Finninge Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Liljeström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
