SC Braga's Antonio Adán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintino Carvalhais didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 42nd minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Richie Cagigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Lucho Aguiar came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Richie Cagigal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Larry Estoyanoff replaced Yiyo Sauca. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lu Xun Lei hit a great ball. Stefan Banaszak struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Antonio Adán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
