The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Guerra got free with Boris Behn in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Pezel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henk Horneber during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando de Sena in the 13th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Boris Behn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sc Ajax Hirtenberg from getting a goal against them. Boris Behn made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Zico Galo sent off a good shot on target. Ferid Eker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Boris Behn made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Eschenbaum to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Galo in the 25th minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper Boris Behn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zico Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Boris Behn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Boris Behn made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Arne Eschenbaum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Hidalgo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Eschenbaum, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Eschenbaum to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Velho Barreiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Montenegro. After 58 minutes of play, Velho Barreiro FC's Naldo Guerra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boris Behn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boris Behn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Galo in the 65th minute of play. Iker Hidalgo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Eschenbaum's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes Sc Ajax Hirtenberg got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Hiemer. Velho Barreiro FC's Edmílson Cosme was substituted for Zico Galo. After a rather tough play, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Dennis Hiemer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Sc Ajax Hirtenberg defense, Edmílson Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Behn. The Sc Ajax Hirtenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Behn should have stopped the shot. Boris Behn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferid Eker, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's zone, Ferid Eker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Behn came out of the goal and Ferid Eker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando de Sena. After a rather tough play, Velho Barreiro FC's Vânderson Carioca got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 95th minute, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Arne Eschenbaum ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.
