In the 2nd match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neal Weatherby to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Sebastian Matei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caballeritos del Baile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Sebastian Matei got a free kick in the 5th minute. Arty Behla, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Angelo Urtsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corbett Alonso in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Deunoro. Luisito Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Robben Robbermond hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Deunoro. 15 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Deunoro came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Deunoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aden Couzens made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Corbett Alonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elderslie Magpies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Mccartan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Mccartan in the 30th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Chaptal in the 35th minute of play. After 40 minutes Elderslie Magpies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Peio who took care of the corner kick. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Weatherby in the 41st minute of play. Jairo Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aden Couzens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Steven Chaptal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elderslie Magpies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Caballeritos del Baile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elderslie Magpies were winning 1-2.

Sebastian Matei was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arty Behla in the 58th minute of play. Neal Weatherby hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 60th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corbett Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jairo Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corbett Alonso in the 65th minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. Angelo Urtsua made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rick Souness sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Souness to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aden Couzens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corbett Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aden Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 87th minute of play. Angelo Urtsua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corbett Alonso's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Urtsua made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rick Souness sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, Elderslie Magpies failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
