The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Linares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Peyo Menendez. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Vladimir do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peyo Menendez having to make a save. 24 minutes into the game, Laurgain Ruiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1.
