Nderim Pepo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but András Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Machu Picchu's Nderim Pepo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. András Tóth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 38th minute Aytuğ Kadirsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. András Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nderim Pepo in the 44th minute of the match. Serkan Yıldırım charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serkan Yıldırım the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serkan Yıldırım kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Ball Hold threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Chaime, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

55 minutes into the game, Dionisio Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machu Picchu the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Ashford in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ball Hold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ball Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Christobal in the 59th minute of play. Nderim Pepo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. András Tóth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Nderim Pepo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machu Picchu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nderim Pepo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nderim Pepo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Machu Picchu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nderim Pepo couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Hug was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
