Amado Vigário sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Frasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arboleda Galdia in the 15th minute of the match. Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. The corner led Deportivo Ortegano's Tomasz Bambas to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Frasca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Arboleda Galdia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca got control of the ball when Celso Galdamiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Galdamiz came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Frasca could save by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Ortegano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Garanhão do SUL.
