Sergio Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 19th minute. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Fudalej came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Red Reign were awarded a corner. Xavion Sorriva went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Red Reign's corner Xavion Sorriva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Che in the 44th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Fudalej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dawid Ratulowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Red Reign made a substitution. Carlos Casemiro replaced Lopez Portanares. The wind increased when Heintje Passos made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Red Reign defense, Heintje Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dawid Ratulowski. The Red Reign fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dawid Ratulowski should have stopped the shot. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nahitantino booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Villamarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nahitantino made a substitution. Esteban Salvator replaced Heintje Passos. Red Reign's Derlis Florentin was substituted for Zigor Ardanza. After a rather tough play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Maximo Villamarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Salvator in the 82nd minute of play. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 92nd minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Red Reign fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nahitantino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
