Tristan Nordlet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bent Streyder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ove Makenhauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afiz Teo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bent Streyder scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afiz Teo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Patrick Cabello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redbourn AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Holmkjar Hotspurs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Redbourn AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Redbourn AFC's Victor Ching got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tristan Nordlet. When Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Chan in the 44th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farhan Ching during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Farhan Ching. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Ove Makenhauer got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bent Streyder to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Ching to maneuver through the defense. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bent Streyder in the 65th minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Victor Chan sped through Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tristan Nordlet. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Ulf Pilshøj replaced Loke Skaanild. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalle Molnit in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afiz Teo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Elmar Lexbo. But to his dismay, Elmar Lexbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Molnit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Molnit in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Patrick Cabello got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Patrick Cabello off the ground. When Berthold Haardeng fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmkjar Hotspurs's protests and gave Berthold Haardeng a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Berthold Haardeng. The Holmkjar Hotspurs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holmkjar Hotspurs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
