Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cecilio Tristan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Cesare Loreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hugo Orlando Gatti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Cesare Loreto made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Di Sipio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Sorci Viola's Arturo Di Sipio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sorci Viola:s goal. The referee gave Sorci Viola a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arturo Di Sipio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti. 0-5. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Tristan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Cecilio Tristan made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Di Sipio in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Loreto came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Di Sipio made a great header on Sorci Viola's corner, it was just that Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. Robt Paulet hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Di Sipio to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Bonelli came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan. But to his dismay, Cecilio Tristan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Emanuel Aurre got a free kick in the 59th minute. Armando Bonelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Arturo Di Sipio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Tristan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Bonelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Cecilio Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Armando Bonelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sorci Viola made a substitution. Franco Piccirilli replaced Cosimo Toninelli. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Tristan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The attack was good, but when Cecilio Tristan in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 86 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Bonelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Cecilio Tristan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Bruno Egidi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Meo. After some careless play in the Sorci Viola defense, Cecilio Tristan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Bonelli. The Sorci Viola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Bonelli should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
