Ademir Tande started the match with the kick off. Jaroslaw Niezgoda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Seterma Tractors defense, Jaroslaw Niezgoda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Sikström. The Seterma Tractors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Sikström should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Chicão Cerezo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Patrik Sikström. 22 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Cerezo came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boruc Poling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademir Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tobias Pepillo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Poling in the 29th minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Chicão Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Poling came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Compostela FSCMZ's Tobias Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Compostela FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Chicão Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Niezgoda was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Patrik Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Cerezo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Jaroslaw Niezgoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chicão Cerezo. In the 67th minute of the match, Boruc Poling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrik Sikström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 72nd minute of play. Seterma Tractors's Patrik Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 74th minute of play. Tobias Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Tande in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Compostela FSCMZ's Boruc Poling dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Compostela FSCMZ's Raí Peres was substituted for Boruc Poling. Dorian Cardoso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alex Ortiz. After recieving a nice pass, Seterma Tractors's Acácio Santana tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Patrik Sikström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Compostela FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Compostela FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
