Salelles's Giuseppe Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Salelles from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthew De la Torre in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Sikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthew De la Torre scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Sikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Matthew De la Torre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Giuseppe Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Seterma Tractors's Enéas de Toledo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gil Neves took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Silveira. Giuseppe Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

A well-hit corner resulted in Argenis Gasso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Salelles booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Ademir Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Nilton de Queirós got a free kick in the 85th minute. 85 minutes into the game, one of Seterma Tractors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Giuseppe Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. After 101st play minutes Ademir Tande shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Giuseppe Silveira and just under the crossbar into goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
