In the 7th minute Baltasar Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Callegari's Jurand Sienkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes Baraja Española FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Isoba who took care of the corner kick. Jurand Sienkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Javiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Jurand Sienkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eustaquio Javiar. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when László Illés came free, but Telmo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes Baraja Española FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Isoba who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Indalecio to strike the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Sienkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Telmo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Jurand Sienkowski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar. Eustaquio Javiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Guerrero in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Baraja Española FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Natalio Raymon hit a great ball. Callegari's Olavo Pinheiro was substituted for Albertinho Teles. If Eduardo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustaquio Javiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Telmo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of Baraja Española FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Baraja Española FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Callegari were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
