Eduardo Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Wessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Callegari's Telmo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Eduardo Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Underdogs's Jan Wessel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Hațegan came free, but Telmo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Wessel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Guerrero ran back to his position shaking his head. The Underdogs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
