FC Kopeto's Milan Krása played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Mello in the 21st minute of play. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC Kopeto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Miranda took the corner. José Pedro de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Qing Yuan in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Régis Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Krása saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Přemysl Pavka might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Pedro de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Přemysl Pavka ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Přemysl Pavka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kopeto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Cai Qing Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Pedro de Godoi. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Qing Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 39 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Milan Krása reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Jakub Jindra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kopeto and the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Kopeto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's José Pedro de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Erechim - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Milan Krása made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Přemysl Pavka in the 55th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper José Pedro de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Gavin Sawbridge struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. José Pedro de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopeto. In the 78th minute, Gavin Sawbridge made a precise shot to the right of José Pedro de Godoi. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. German Pezzella charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Pezzella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by German Pezzella. José Pedro de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Kopeto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
