After 13 minutes Punk Fiction's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexsandro Bueno who took care of the corner kick. Alexsandro Bueno was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolf's players had a chance to rest. Wolf's Alexsandro Bueno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amado Jordão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amado Jordão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Brummer in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Astor Urtun notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wolf's Fernandão Rodrigues. Fernandão Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandão Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Amado Jordão made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fernandinho de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Fernandão Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Chap kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Brummer was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Nayely got free with Fernandão Rodrigues in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fernandão Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Nayely could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fernandão Rodrigues made a huge save. After having played for 59 minutes, Gilberto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punk Fiction's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elói Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Jordão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gilberto Nayelys short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Fernandão Rodrigues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Brummer in the 66th minute of the match. Wolf's Fernandão Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Ankiewicz in the 68th minute of play. Fernandão Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gilberto Nayely sent off a good shot on target. Amado Jordão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Punk Fiction booed when Wolf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Swoboda didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Punk Fiction would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
