After 16 played minutes Warmia Grajewo got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Gongola. After 21 minutes, Agil Tambunan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PS Banyuwangi and the Warmia Grajewo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PS Banyuwangi getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Agil Tambunan hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Zbigniew Boniek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warmia Grajewo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbigniew Boniek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Warmia Grajewo's Aleksander Solarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by I Putu Tecuari in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Boniek got free with Sirod Simanungkalit in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Supriatna kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Zbigniew Boniek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sirod Simanungkalit was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aleksander Solarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from I Putu Tecuari went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. I Putu Tecuari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Solarek having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, I Putu Tecuari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksander Solarek. Warmia Grajewo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that I Putu Tecuari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 86th match minute, PS Banyuwangi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Pasaribu to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Pasaribu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Solarek having to interfere. There was no doubt that PS Banyuwangi were the better team. PS Banyuwangi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
