In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper 邓真义, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 邓真义 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Ferid Eker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓真义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Donevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordan Donevski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Hidalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferid Eker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓真义 having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ferid Eker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 邓真义 was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferid Eker to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Salvino came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 邓真义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferid Eker, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 88th minute of the match. Ferid Eker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓真义 having to interfere. Psycho-Circus's Isaias Serapio was substituted for Adolfo Salvino. Psycho-Circus's Marcos Petrigai was substituted for Andres Calamaro. Velho Barreiro FC's Edmílson Cosme was substituted for Ferid Eker. Iker Hidalgo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Claudio-Paul Caniggia sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Edmílson Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. 邓真义 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Psycho-Circus's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
