The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 23 minutes, Gabriel Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 29th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Prospero Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliberto Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 59 minutes, Valko De Hond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Errecaborda AFC and the Lobos de Carelia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos de Carelia's Ismael Tauro. But to his dismay, Ismael Tauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 71st minute, Andres Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Joe Tate made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Ipar. Lobos de Carelia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emílio Terra in the 78th minute. Lucas Jimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Jimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Lucas Jimenez got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Theobald in the 83rd minute of play.
