Feliberto Ipar was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ferid Eker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferid Eker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferid Eker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Ipar. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Zeca Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Adolfo Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Zeca Fernandez notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute Zeca Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Ipar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferid Eker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. Andres Ursino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferid Eker in the 53rd minute of play. Iker Hidalgo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zeca Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Velho Barreiro FC from getting a goal against them. Iker Hidalgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 61st minute. When Zeca Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lobos de Carelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeca Fernandez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Montenegro in the 67th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeca Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Iker Hidalgo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeca Fernandez went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Prospero Perico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Hidalgo. Velho Barreiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Perico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Ciro Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Zico Galo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Ipar. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Ipar should have stopped the shot. Velho Barreiro FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lovis Wefers took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lovis Wefers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliberto Ipar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There was no doubt that Velho Barreiro FC were the better team. Velho Barreiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
