With his leg Domingo Bulnes managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Roceira SC's Hulk Speed fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano van Beek went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Haaland got free with Domingo Bulnes in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hulk Speed sped through ✪ XV de Umarizal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Bulnes. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano van Beek to strike the kick off in the second half. Válbson Moraes made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Raimundo Guerra. 62 minutes into the game, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Adriano van Beek might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelinho Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano van Beek ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Roceira SC's zone, Adriano van Beek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Barral came out of the goal and Adriano van Beek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Hulk Speed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roceira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Telmo Simões was substituted for Adriano van Beek. When Michel Haaland fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roceira SC's protests and gave Michel Haaland a yellow card for diving instead. ✪ XV de Umarizal were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliézer Paranaense took the corner. Telmo Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Barral made a huge save. Hulk Speed blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Bulnes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 90th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
