Dionisia's Aquiles Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezel Lobo in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dionisia's zone, Enzo Da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Senio came out of the goal and Enzo Da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Garoa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Aquiles Senio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dionisia's Aquiles Senio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Dionisia from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lobo Bicherakhov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Dionisia's Florencio Chano was substituted for Denis Ereinotz. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Beturian to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo de Amaral in the 99th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Aquiles Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dionisia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
